MARSHALLING

CMS (UK) Ltd also offer a car park marshalling service for sporting events, civil/corporate functions and other like occasions. This would require temporary signs and uniformed officers to direct and guide permitted car park users onto and off the car park, and into the designated parking bay.

The fees for this would depend on the number of parking spaces, the restrictions to be monitored and the number of days to be covered. All personnel and equipment i.e. barriers, tape, rope, cones and all signage would be supplied by CMS (UK) Ltd. We feel our solution allows the client to concentrate on the event/occasion and not the avoidable parking congestion.

STATIC PATROLS

A Static Patrol is needed when a high volume of traffic uses your car park and the abuse needs constant monitoring.  The use of a uniformed officer in addition to the signs displayed creates a highly visible deterrent to would be parking abusers. This option could be used on a weekly, monthly or permanent basis, as the site requires.
Thus keeping cost to a minimum whilst maintaining effective car park management.
The onsite parking officer will always work under a strict code of conduct and are in contact with the head office at all times.

MOBILE PATROLS

Uniformed officers in sign written vehicles carry out mobile patrols.
Together with the signs displayed in the car park this in its self creates a strong visual deterrent.
These types of patrols are mostly used when the abuse of the car park is of a fluctuating type i.e. late night shopping, market day, sports events and where the use of signage has brought most of the abuse under control requiring just random weekly/daily attendance to maintain the site.
All sites will be issued with a CMS (UK) Ltd reporting register, and patrols will sign in and out on each visit.

CMS (UK) Ltd retains the ability to immobilise a vehicle clamping but we would advise clients against this form of enforcement, as in our experience the non confrontational form of a parking charge notice is much more client and user friendly.
